This new lake is an interesting one. Patches of partially submerged trees make the lake maze like in some places. If you paddle to some of these clumps of trees, there is a sort of a tunnel effect. I believe that this is because the trees were the shores of the creek they flooded to build this lake.

I got on at the docks and portaged over the trail to get to this more out of the way part of the lake. Once on I followed the shoreline until reaching creeks and followed them as far as I could.

The larger creek appears to be the northern one. I got a bit out of the park before the creek got so cluttered I didn't want to continue.

Note: I pulled what appeared to be some very small leeches off of my board after this trip.

The west creek appears to be the shorter of the two. According to an old map, there should be a branch off of this branch, but I couldn't find it. I just barely got out of the park before the creek got to cluttered to continue on.
