Broke through a log jam with A on Saturday. The new pack saw I purchased didn't work as well as I had hoped. I ended up getting in the water and moving the branches and logs by hand.

There were a few spots to that were a little hard to get through. But as the case with most of these creeks, it simply got narrower and shallower until going on would have been more of a pain that it was worth.

I Reached the normal branch point / old far point with A. A found a spot through, so we went as far as we could go.

Some interesting places on this creek. I have my big fin on, so some places were an issue. Without it it would have been fine, however. One animal damn like part I had to get off.

I believe this current far point can be passed with a small amount of work. Maybe just gloves and a saw. Or maybe a machete.

The water was high, so the log jam I broke though was easier to get past than it would have otherwise been. Ran into another log jam almost immediately. It took some time to clear a path. Got to the pictured spot without much additional effort. After squeezing under this log, I was unable to go further; there was another jam of two large trees on the other side. I gave up after about twenty minutes of trying to move these trees.
